Siemens launched a new AI-Rad Companion Chest X-ray version with additional functionality. Apart from several clinical findings, the algorithms also detect the tip of the endotracheal tube and carina. The distance between them is computed and when the distance between an endotracheal tube tip and the carina is above or below the configured threshold a notification is provided.


qXR-LN from Qure.ai has been FDA cleared for the detection of lung nodules on chest X-ray. This functionality was already part of the European version of qXR, but is now available to the United States as well.


The newest version of Thirona's LungQ software has received FDA clearance. The main new feature encompasses advanced segmentation of pulmonary segments and subsegments.


Quibim has announced the release of an enhanced version of its QP-Prostate product, incorporating automatic detection of clinically significant prostate cancer lesions developed using biopsy outcomes as ground truth. The new functionalities aim to improve radiologists’ accuracy in identifying signs of cancer, and help them provide actionable data points to oncology departments.


Lunit announced a three-year supply contract with Samsung Healthcare to integrate Lunit's INSIGHT CXR solutions into Samsung's X-ray devices.

With the launch of QP-Brain, which encompasses several of their earlier features, some Quibim products have become superfluous. These products have been removed from AIforRadiology.com, which are: Brain atrophy: screening, Brain atrophy: frontal-temporal, Brain atrophy: hippocampal asymmetry, Brain atrophy: motor cortex, White Matter Lesions.
