Update on Lunit's acquisition of Volpara

Lunit has given an update on its forthcoming acquisition of Volpara Health. The High Court of New Zealand has granted preliminary approval and all essential approvals under New Zealand's Overseas Investment Act and Regulations have been obtained, paving the way for the proposed acquisition. This initial court order also sets the stage for a forthcoming shareholder meeting, which is an important step in the acquisition process. If the shareholders of Volpara Health approve the proposal, Lunit will complete the acquisition of the entire share capital of Volpara Health at the predetermined price. The transaction involves the acquisition of 254 million shares and represents a significant transaction valued at approximately AUD 292 million (€178 million). The acquisition is expected to be completed in May 2024.
